I Lived on a Cargo Ship for 30 Days
A 30-day embedded documentary following life aboard a 1,200 ft container ship crossing the Pacific — from Long Beach to Yokohama.
About this campaign
For one month I will live and film aboard a container vessel as it crosses the Pacific, documenting every role on board: the captain, the cooks, the engineers, and the autonomous systems that run the ship while the crew sleeps.
The final cut will run 52 minutes. My last three long-form documentaries averaged 8.4M views in their first year. Based on my historical RPM of $6.20, the projected 5-year gross revenue on this video is between $62k and $84k.
Funds are used for shipping-company access fees, production insurance, travel, equipment, post-production, and cold-weather gear.

How we prove the numbers are real.
01. Creator grants read-only access
During onboarding, the creator signs in with Google and authorizes Fundli to read their YouTube Analytics for the specific channel hosting this video. The token is revocable at any time.
02. We pull numbers directly from the API
Every month we query the YouTube Analytics API for estimated_revenue on this exact video ID. Nothing passes through the creator’s hands — the data source is the same one YouTube uses for their own payouts.
03. Raw payloads are archived
Each API response is hashed and archived with an immutable timestamp. Any investor can request the raw payloads for their stake at any time.
Questions about this campaign
The expected upload window is May 2026. If the video is not uploaded within 120 days of the window closing, investors are automatically refunded in full.
We apply a decay curve to Mira’s historical view distribution for long-form uploads, multiplied by her 12-month trailing RPM. The forecast is illustrative, not guaranteed.
The creator retains all copyright. Investors own a contractual right to a share of net AdSense revenue for 5 years — nothing else.
